Nie chodzi o darwinowskie prawo natury ani te\u017c o ide\u0119 prawa naturalnego, tylko o to, \u017ce natura-\u015brodowisko te\u017c powinno by\u0107 traktowane jako podmiot praw.<\/p>\n

First, it must be stated that a true \u201cright of the environment\u201d does exist, for two reasons.\u00a0 First, because we human beings are part of the environment. \u00a0We live in communion with it, since the environment itself entails ethical limits which human activity must acknowledge and respect. \u00a0Man, for all his remarkable gifts, which \u201care signs of a uniqueness which transcends the spheres of physics and biology\u201d (Laudato Si\u2019<\/i>, 81), is at the same time a part of these spheres. \u00a0He possesses a body shaped by physical, chemical and biological elements, and can only survive and develop if the ecological environment is favourable. \u00a0Any harm done to the environment, therefore, is harm done to humanity. \u00a0Second, because every creature, particularly a living creature, has an intrinsic value, in its existence, its life, its beauty and its interdependence with other creatures.\u00a0 We Christians, together with the other monotheistic religions, believe that the universe is the fruit of a loving decision by the Creator, who permits man respectfully to use creation for the good of his fellow men and for the glory of the Creator; he is not authorized to abuse it, much less to destroy it. \u00a0In all religions, the environment is a fundamental good (cf. ibid.).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Co ciekawe, wbrew zarzutom konserwatywnych krytyk\u00f3w papie\u017c swej my\u015bli nie opiera na doktrynach zielonych ekoaktywist\u00f3w, tylko wywodzi z zasady sprawiedliwo\u015bci spo\u0142ecznej. Grzechy przeciwko \u015brodowisku prowadz\u0105 do zjawisk wykluczenia spo\u0142ecznego i biedy. Natomiast w my\u015bleniu o formach podmiotowo\u015bci \u015brodowiska ewidentnie wida\u0107\u00a0\u017ar\u00f3d\u0142a latynoameryka\u0144skie.<\/p>\n

Ciekawe by\u0142oby przy okazji si\u0119 dowiedzie\u0107, czy Franciszek czyta\u0142 Brunona Latoura, bo i \u015blady ANT (Actor-Network Theory) w jego s\u0142owach mo\u017cna by odnale\u017a\u0107. Mniej wa\u017cne s\u0105 jednak \u017ar\u00f3d\u0142a papieskiej my\u015bli, wa\u017cniejsze, \u017ce wprowadza w obieg \u015bwie\u017ce my\u015blenie o miejscu cz\u0142owieka w \u015bwiecie – pokazuj\u0105c, \u017ce je\u015bli chcemy prze\u017cy\u0107 w antropocenie, musimy porzuci\u0107 antropocentryzm i budowa\u0107 przysz\u0142e spo\u0142ecze\u0144stwo na nowej koncepcji podmiotowo\u015bci.<\/p>\n
